Field Trip 2024
The first and second graders enjoyed their time at the Hastings Museum. The first graders listened to an interactive presentation about the Pawnee Indians. They had a chance to design a slap bracelet with Native American symbols, play a game, and feel actual items from the buffalo while guessing what the Pawnee used them for. They also watched a show at the Planetarium about the different constellations. One of their favorite activities was to watch the 3-D I-Max show on volcanoes. The students were fascinated that it looked like they could actually feel the things in the show. We also walked around in the museum on our own and discovered many fascinating items. Our school lunch was held outside at the park.
